Pristine natural environments and healthy ecosystems play an important role in maintaining the health of our planet. We strongly believe in the importance of protecting and conserving the natural world for the future of our planet. Through education programs, cleanup events and habitat restoration work, the Jervis Bay Marine Discovery and Research Centre aims to keep the beaches, reefs and animals of Jervis Bay healthy for many years to come.
Our programs
At the Jervis Bay Marine Discovery and Research Centre, we are involved with the following projects:
- Organising Clean Up Australia events with our members to keep our mangroves, beaches and reefs clean.
- Working with schools to educate students about environmental pollution and hosting Clean Up Australia events with them.
